I was born on Rottnest Island, a little paradise off the coast of Western Australia where quokkas have lived for thousands of years. We're famous for one thing: we never stop smiling.
One day, a tourist dropped a travel journal on the beach. I spent weeks looking at photos of mountains, deserts, and forests. Places I'd never imagined existed.
That's when I knew: the world is too big to stay in one place.
